In this final episode of Beautiful Zimbabwe, Ryan convinces me, to travel with him to Gonarezhou. We then take the route "less travelled" to get there and obviously arrive late again, but we have the most amazing adventure through the most incredible lands. Thank you to Ryan from @4x4ventures for some of the great footage in this episode.

Hey Bruce. You probably don’t remember me (also a Turner) but when you trek through Malawi again get in touch. Better yet, bring your dad up here. Our dads were friends many moons ago. Have a spot on the lake and camp regularly in the AP parks. Great show btw, congrats.
Hi Brad. Was your dad’s name Lionel by any chance. I think I remember a Lionel Turner. Now that sounds like a great plan. Please email me your contact details to bruce@owb.co.za and let me know your dad’s name so I can tell my old man too. Thank you and thank you for watching
Thank u Bruce; I enjoy watching your episodes and your genuine passion for your trails… I wish I travel with you next time…

Brilliant content all the time
Thank you so much Fungai and thank you for watching
Allways wonder why some people catch fish put do not eat them. But I enoyed the Video non the less.
I guess we fit into that category of "some people" . It is common practice to catch and release the tiger fish. Apparently they are not great fish to eat anyway. But I also think that its like saying what's the point of chasing a white ball around a golf course or taking a picture of an animal or ? It's all about enjoyment and I cant tell you it was a lot of fun and remember we are not fishermen/people. Also this is going to be strange but I actually felt better that they were released and not killed also. You should try it sometime. Thank you for watching.
@@OverlandingwithBruce Thank you for the explanation. I rather watch the fish wihle diving or snorkling. 😊
@africanomads yes I must admit to feeling sorry for them also but I wouldn’t snorkel in the Zambezi 😂
Good Morning 😊 Awesome Video👌🏽Appreciate the Content 👍🏼 Greetings From The Limpopo Province 🇿🇦

Bruce, as always a great episode! I hope you have a few more episodes coming up as I noted this was filmed a year ago 😂 Quick we needs load more please. Have you ever been to Mongwe? Used to be fab in the 90s and awesome fishing too(I am afraid to say I'm worse than you) 😂😂
yeah I know. It's been a busy year and my focus has been on my business with most weekends filled with checking the rental vehicles and on top of that my day job to be honest. I haven't been to Mongwe. Will put it onto the list. Thank you. Thank you for watching.
Awesome episode Bruce, weldone legends i real enjoyed it 🤗
Thanks very much Freeman and thank you for watching.
Well done Bruce, brilliant footage of the stunning Zambezi. Looked like a big puffie. Looking forward to my trip to Gona in September.🎉🎉 cheers 🍻 ian

This catch and toss is no fun. At least 2nyana for the road 😀😀😀😀
hehe I think tiger fish are not great for eating 😂 thank you for watching
Another incredible show. Well done Bruce.
Thank you and thank you for watching
Thanks Bruce and Elmarie. Long awaited episode 😅.
It’s a pleasure and thank you for watching
Beautiful scenery and very informative. Can you comment on Gonarezhou in Dec to mid Jan or are we wasting our time as it's the start of the rainy season. Many thanks Bruce and keep it up
Warren you maybe lucky it all depends on the rains. If the rains are late it will be hot and dry and you will be able to go anywhere. If it has been raining the Runde river maybe full and a lot of the tracks will be closed. The causeway may still be open but even then some tracks will be closed on the other side. The bush is beautiful in summer but can also be very dense so you may not see much. Thank you for watching.
Bruce as always epic content , camera work next level thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much Shauna and thank you for the support as usual mate 🙏
Most enjoyable Bruce, thank you.
Thank you Brian and thank you for watching
Thank you Bruce for showing us these lovely places where you see animals in their natural habitat not spoiled by men .We need to preserve these areas

What does a soccor ball cost?
About R120 and the pump is about R30 . I always give a pump with a ball for obvious reasons. Chasingsmiles.org is also up although it’s still a work in progress
We missed you Bro I have been checking the channel for months thank you for this pleasant installment
thank you and thanks for watching again. Next episode will be up soon hopefully if all goes to plan. Thanks for the continued support
I’m a little late to the party as I have just come across your channel but I am loving every minute of it! Coming to you from Virginia, USA and appreciate all the sights, sounds and tips! Who needs Netflix when you have Bruce! Cheers and many thanks.
Hi Charles. As they say, better late than never but jokes aside, thank you for the awesome message and I’m so glad to hear you enjoying it. Thank you for watching.
Bruce is the Hot Springs still there
Yes they are but when I was there a bunch of people at the local shabeen insisted I pay them US$50 to see it so I laughed and left.
Thanks for great series giving an honest view of Zim .Just one point though why do the Drummonds not buy a few balls for their staff and have staff quarters been improved
Thank you. They do a lot for their staff and the communities around them for example they have chicken breeding pens that breed chickens to feed the community and a bunch of other initiatives also. It was the Drummond’s that also invited me there to hand out the balls to the local school. Thank you for watching and commenting
Great video Bruce. Please give us a rig walk around of your Conqueror Commander. Looking forward to episode 2. Thanks
Thank you. I will try and do one for you. I’m Hank you for watching

Where did you access or leave Hunters Road -North & South ends. Heading that way in Sept 2025. 3 x Land Cruisers.
Just north of Elephant sands there is a huge cut line that goes straight to Hunters. That’s the easiest and most obvious way.

Nostalgia- I remember real Fanta and real Coke too- it’s all been packed up and shipped off to kiosks in the middle of nowhere- so they can get addicted to it like us, and then get saddled with ChemCocktail cans of soft drink like us 😂 And thanks for the heads up on the grass situation- I had wondered why you were going to such lengths.
